Being the premier instrumental ensemble at Safety Harbor Middle School, the SHMS Symphonic Band is designed for 8th graders who have 2 years of band experience and 7th graders who have exceeded their expectations in Beginning Band. The Symphonic Band performs for the annual SHMS Halloween Concert, Winter Concert, Pre-MPA Concert, and Spring Concert. Symphonic Band also performs for Concert Band MPA every March. With teacher approval, Symphonic Band students are invited to participate in Solo & Ensemble MPA and audition for the All-County and All-State Bands.
